SCORE SHEET TIPS
*Home team MUST report score to Statistician within 24 hours of game. This
may be done by e-mail, fax or phone. E-mail to STATSforEWAHL@msn.com the
game number, home team score, visitors score, home team total penalty minutes,
visitors total penalty minutes, any misconducts/suspensions issued. Or fax score
sheet to 716-667-3872 or phone & leave message with the info.
* Top white copy MUST be mailed to Statistician within 48 hours of game.

I will post on the schedule page from initial information received, but the standings page will only be updated once I receive the top white copy.
* NO PLAYER SIGNATURES ARE REQUIRED ON THE SCORE SHEETS
* ALL EWAHL games MUST be on EWAHL score sheets with Logo.
* Please make sure all of the game information is filled in. Game #, Division, Teams,
Score by Periods & Final, Date, Scorer, Start Time (actual), Stop Time (actual),
Curfew time & Rink. Also Names of Home & Away Teams. Curfew time should be
noted & initialed by the referee before the game starts. Have referee print name in
their section before the game, this helps so they can be identified later if there is a
problem.
* If using stickers for player’s names, PLEASE put a line through the name of any
absent player, note suspensions in the signature column & in comments. Also,
make sure notations go thru all copies of score sheet. Fines will be incurred if not
properly completed.
* ALL coaches on the bench MUST sign the score sheet. Their name, coaching
card number & level must be recorded.
* Note any delay of game in comment section Ex -injury, problem with ice or clock.
* If need be, use second score sheet to record additional penalties.
Label 1 of 2 & 2 of 2 with the game number.
* At the end of the game, make sure the score sheet is complete & accurate.
All information MUST be recorded BEFORE the score sheet is signed by the
referee
* Make sure any suspension issued during game are properly recorded.
* You MUST send copies of ALL of your games. Exhibitions & Tournaments need to
be sent to me also. This is so suspensions issued & served can be tracked.
* DO NOT use EWAHL score sheets for exhibition games. Please use association
score sheets. You have been distributed enough score sheets to cover all of your
home games. Extra score sheets are available at a nominal cost plus postage.
*DO NOT send any fines or fees to Patti Lester (League Statistician). All monies
are collected by the EWAHL Treasurer from League Associations monthly. You
must pay your Association. You are sent fine letters as a courtesy. Fines are
reported to the EWAHL Association Representatives @ the monthly EWAHL
meeting.
*All Correspondence go to the head coach & manager via e-mail. I do not give out
game information to individuals not related to the game sheet.
*DO NOT use EWAHL score sheets for exhibition games. You have been given
enough score sheets for your league play. Extra score sheets can be obtained for
a nominal fee.
*Please use the EWAHL GAME SCHEDULE CHANGE FORM and
ROSTER CHANGE FORM found in the Guidebook and on the EWAHL Website.
They may be emailed or US mailed to me as per the instructions in the guidebook.
These forms must be used and every thing must be filled in completely.

* USA Hockey also puts out an Off-Ice Officiating Manual that has information
for the scorekeeper & their duties.
